Ayutthaya Movie
The city of Ayutthaya is situated on an island at the confluence of
three rivers, Maenam Chao Phraya, Pasak and Lopburi, north of the
capital, Bangkok. Ayutthaya was in times gone by an impressive grand
royal city. Magnificent temple wrapped in gold reflected the richness
of its former ruler of Siam rich again. In 1767 the city was conquered
by the Burmese and so thoroughly destroyed that only a few ruins left
and stayed one can understand what glory is here must have acted.Die Stadt Ayutthaya liegt auf einer Insel am Zusammenfluss dreier Flüsse, Maenam Chao Phraya, Pasak und Lopburi, nördlich der Hauptstadt Bangkok. Ayutthaya war in vergangen Zeiten eine eindrucksvolle grandiose Königsstadt. Prachtvolle Tempel in Gold gehüllt spiegelten den Reichtum seiner damaligen Herrscher des reiches Siam wieder. Im Jahre 1767 wurde die Stadt von den Burmesen erobert und so gründlich zerstört, dass nur noch einige Ruinen übrig blieben und man nachvollziehen kann um welche Pracht es sich hier gehandelt haben muß.
